I've had the pleasure of working for Nourian Dental for about year and a half and I have loved every moment of it! I have been in the dental field for a total of 10 years. I have a Bachelor's Degree from Texas Women's University and an Associates in Dental Hygiene from Sanford College. I grew up in Richardson and currently reside in Plano. When I'm not at the office, I can be found with my son at his soccer games or dining out with my boyfriend at a new restaurant.
I was born and raised in Venezuela. I moved to the United States with my family in 2002. After learning English, I attended Richland College where I graduated with an Associate’s degree in Science and in 2009 I earned my Dental Hygiene Bachelor’s Degree at Baylor College of Dentistry. I love my job and being able to make a difference in somebody’s life. Treating, helping, and educating patients about their oral health and home care is an everyday passion. When I am not at work, I am usually hanging out with family and friends, traveling across the country, and attending concerts or sporting events. I also enjoy practicing martial arts as well as yoga and meditation.
Lead Dental Assistant
My name is Sarvnaz Bahrami and my friends, family and patients call me Nazee. I have worked with Dr. Nourian since 2005 and have enjoyed being a dental assistant for over 18 years. I love every day I work. as I feel this office is my second home and the patients are my family. I value my job and love it when I can make a difference in my patients’ day. I like to get to know each one of our patients and always think of our patients as family and friends. I am a proud single mom to a very kind, respectful and kind young man. After my late husband passed away 18 years ago, I have spent the last 18 years raising my son to be a productive part of our society.
I've been a dental assistant for over 7 years. I graduated from ATI for my certificate and graduated from Richland College with an Associates Degree. I was trying to become a dentist or medical doctor but I wanted to make money now. My goal is either to become a nurse or a dental hygienist in the future at Texas Woman University or Baylor College of Dentistry. I am a very social person. I love to sing. I love to travel around the world. I've been to Japan, Seoul, and Barcelona so far in the past three years.
I graduated as an English translator back in my country Iran. When I moved here, I had found dentistry really exciting. I decided to change my field and explore dentistry with the support of my dad and his advice. Although he wanted me to become a medical doctor like him, I chose to work and became a Registered Dental Assistant and hopefully grow in the future. I love sports such as watersports like jet skiing, snow boarding and all the fun sports that bring excitement to my life. I have a puppy (Ario) that I adore and spend most of my time with him when I'm not at work.
I was born Tehran and after the revolution I left Iran for Germany where I went to middle and high school. I moved to Austin, Texas in my last year of high school. After my high school diploma, I continued for my undergrad studies to UT Austin and then University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas. After graduation, I joined the public health services and served in South Texas and Dallas for over 3 years. I had opened my practice in 1997 and has been practicing since.
