Dr. Leyla Nourian – Cosmetic & Restorative Dentist
Dr. Leyla Nourian has been a pioneer in aesthetic and restorative dentistry in the Dallas area since 1994. She describes dentistry as both her passion and her art form—a philosophy that shines through in the exceptional, natural-looking smiles she creates. With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Nourian is known for her precision, artistry, and genuine care for every patient she treats.
She specializes in a wide range of cosmetic and general dental procedures and is deeply committed to providing the highest level of care through the integration of cutting-edge technology. Outside the office, Dr. Nourian enjoys reading, exploring new technologies, and spending quality time with her husband, John and their two daughters, Daryana and Sorena. She’s also a proud cat mom to Olaf, the beloved family pet. A strong believer in the American Dream, Dr. Nourian is passionate about contributing to a healthier, kinder America—one smile at a time.
Dr. Ramsey, Oral Surgeon
Dr. Ramsey has been practicing Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery since 1995 and takes great pride in his highly professional surgical team. Quality patient care is his number one priority. He is certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Ramsey was an Adjunct Clinical Professor at Baylor College of Dentistry from 1997-2010. He was also involved in residency training at Baylor University Medical Center until 2011 and has been in charge of the maxillofacial trauma surgery division at Medical Center of Plano, a level II trauma center in the Dallas area.
Dr. Ramsey has been performing the Smile in a Day procedure since 2010 and has done more than 200 of these life-changing procedures. Dr. Ramsey received an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler School of Business. Dr. Ramsey’s passion is to provide his patients with the highest quality care while streamlining his surgical practice with a high-efficiency business model and the most current “state-of-the-art” technology.
Shadi – Registered Dental Assistant
Fatemeh, affectionately known as “Shadi,” relocated from Tehran to Dallas in 2017, although she has been visiting the United States since the early 2000s.
She is a dedicated Registered Dental Assistant who began her career in 2019 after receiving hands-on training directly from Dr. Nourian. Shadi worked throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, gaining exceptional experience in sterilization and infection control protocols.
Shadi is passionate about patient care and takes pride in creating a warm, welcoming environment. She finds great fulfillment in ensuring her patients feel comfortable and leave the office satisfied with their care.
Outside of work, Shadi enjoys spending time with her daughter, who is currently in high school and is her greatest source of pride. In her free time, she loves shopping, reading, traveling, organizing, and socializing with friends and family.
Dr. John Botts, Anesthesiologist
Dr. John Botts received his doctorate degree from UT San Antonio & completed his Anesthesia residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He has been in private practice in the North Dallas area for over 25 years specializing in adult anesthetics. He has successfully performed over 27,000 anesthetics in his career.
In 2022, he retired from his private practice & now exclusively provides IV sedation for Nourian Dental’s surgical patients. He takes great pride in providing a safe, smooth, & personal experience for all of Dr. Nourian’s surgical patients.
Mahnaz – Insurance Coordinator
Mahnaz was born in Tehran, Iran, and moved to Plano, Texas in 1982. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Banking from the University of Tehran, Business School.
Before joining the team at Nourian Dental, Mahnaz was both a loyal patient and a close friend of Dr. Nourian. After some time in retirement, she discovered a renewed passion for serving others and chose to return to the workforce—this time as part of the Nourian Dental family.
As our Insurance Coordinator, Mahnaz brings both expertise and heart to her role. She genuinely enjoys connecting with patients, greeting them with a warm smile and often exchanging friendly, personal stories. For her, coming to work feels like spending time with close friends. Her favorite part of the job is helping patients understand and maximize their dental benefits, ensuring they receive the care they need and deserve.
Mahnaz is a proud mother of two and a devoted grandmother to Cameron (11) and Sofia (8), whom she adores and spoils every chance she gets.
Outside of the office, she enjoys playing cards—especially poker—with friends, taking nature walks, traveling, attending social gatherings, and savoring a good glass of wine.

Dr. Donald Ross, Prosthodontist
Donald Ross DDS Pros Cert. is a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. He remained in Iowa to finish a post-graduate residency program in Prosthodontics. His 15+ years of clinical experience have been focused on cosmetic makeovers, dentures and dental implants. His clinical expertise specifically lies in all aspects of the full-arch fixed-implant-bridge (or All-on-X) procedure. He lectures nationally on the edentulism market with commentary, interviews, training and resources and to date has completed over 2,000 arches. He founded OnXX Digital in 2017, which provides high-end service and support specifically to the All-on-X market. The OnXX Digital process uses its proprietary ProXXiGuide System (PGS) and photogrammetry to streamline and automate the entire restorative process. OnXX Digital produces all arches at its in-house, state-of-the-art center. Dr. Ross serves as Founder and Chief Clinical Officer for OnXX Digital.
Veronica Terrell – Registered Dental Hygienist
Veronica is our vibrant and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist, known for her positive energy and warm approach to patient care. Originally from Kansas, she relocated to Texas to pursue her passion for dentistry and build a fulfilling career in the field.
With over 20 years of experience in dentistry, Veronica began her journey as a Dental Assistant, where she discovered her love for patient care. Her desire to make an even greater impact inspired her to return to school and become a Registered Dental Hygienist. Since joining the Nourian Dental team in 2018, she has been an invaluable part of our practice, committed to helping patients achieve and maintain healthy, beautiful smiles.
Outside the office, Veronica cherishes spending time with her children, attending their football games, and sharing her faith through praise dance ministry.
